All sales are final. Nursery stock (trees & shrubs) may be exchanged within three (3) days of purchase date when accompanied by a receipt. All nursery stock must be in original container and exchange is subject to inspection by nursery manager. We reserve the right to refuse any return of plant material.

We do not guarantee annuals, perennials, or houseplants. Nursery stock (trees & shrubs) that are healthy when they leave the garden center will be examined by our nursery manager for causes of failure as we cannot be responsible for lack of water or inadequate care or environmental issues that occur on your property. Any exchanges must be made in original nursery containers. In all cases we will work with you to resolve.

Yes, we carry Hemlock, Pine, and Black bark mulch as well as loam, compost, sand, stone, and other aggregates. Materials are sold by the yard and can be loaded to your vehicle on site or delivered usually within one day.

Yes, you can bring your plants in and we will repot it for you. Repotting same day or while you wait is not guaranteed, you may need to come back to pick it up at another time.

Yes we do custom plantings in pots and window boxes. Plantings are done on a first come, first serve basis so schedule your planting early. In the busiest part of the spring it can take up to two weeks. In the off season it usually only takes a few days. You can either come in, speak to one of our designers and pick out your plants, or you can give us color preferences and lighting conditions and we’ll make the plant selection for you.

Our planting fee is charged per man hour labor rate of $75. A delivery charge of $35 also applies and may vary by location. We plant on a first come, first served basis.

No, unfortunately mulch and plant material need to be on different trucks resulting in two delivery fees.

Different shrubs can be pruned at different times, but a good rule of thumb is to prune flowering shrubs right after they finish blooming.

Dwarf Alberta Spruce are prone to attack by Red Spider Mites. If you see this type of damage occurring, spray with a miticide or horticultural oil. It’s important to get thorough coverage, top and bottom of the needles for adequate control. You can prevent damage by spraying with a hard spray of water once a week through the summer. This will keep the mite population below the damage threshold.

Bring in a sample of the plant sealed in a zip lock plastic bag or a photo in your yard setting. Our nursery manager will attempt to diagnose the problem. If we are unable to diagnose, we may schedule a site visit and / or send your sample to UNH Co-Operative Extension service for assistance.
